COVID-19 Update

The well-being and safety of our actors, crew, and audience remain our highest priority. The Western Stage has re-implemented the protocols that allowed us to present last season fully without shutdown or cancellations.  Thank you in advance for your support and understanding.

In brief, everyone who comes to The Western Stage, regardless of age, must:

  • Provide proof of full vaccination or negative test result (Rapid Antigen within 4 hours or within 72 hours of the performance)

  • Wear a mask at all times while inside (N95/KN95 strongly recommended)

COVID-19 PROTOCOLS

VACCINES

Patrons 5 and older must show proof of full vaccination* (electronic, photo, or paper copy).

*Full vaccination is defined as two weeks after completion of the two-dose regimen of Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, one dose of Johnson & Johnson vaccine, or other WHO authorized COVID-19 vaccine.

Acceptable proof is...

  • A digital vaccine record, which can be obtained by California residents at http://MyVaccineRecord.cdph.ca.gov

  • A physical vaccination card.

  • A clear, legible photocopy of your full vaccination card.

  • A clear, legible photo of your full vaccination card.

  • A negative test result (Rapid Antigen within 4 hours or within 72 hours of the performance)

MASKS

We strongly recommend the use of N95 or KN95 face coverings for maximum protection for both you and your fellow patrons. Face coverings must be worn at all times while indoors, with exceptions made only for our performers (who are fully vaccinated) when they are on stage.

All masks must:

  • Be made with at least 2 layers of breathable material.

  • Fully cover the nose and mouth, and secure under the chin.

  • Fit snugly against the side of the face.

  • Be secured with ties or ear loops and allow the wearer to remain hands-free.

At this time—based on guidance from health authorities—neck gaiters, plastic face shields, open-chin designs, triangle bandanas, and/or face coverings containing valves, mesh material, or holes of any kind are not acceptable face coverings.
